It’s no secret that I am a huge sports fan. When it comes to the four majors, basketball, baseball, football, and yes… hockey, I just can’t get enough.
The month of April usually signals the time of year when fans are hit with the dilemma of choosing among watching the NHL playoffs, the NBA, and Baseball. Just last night I experienced this problem which let me to wonder aloud, “Wouldn’t it be cool if there were a picture-to-picture-to- picture device on the market?
Well, first off, I don’t even own a picture-in-picture (PIP) receiver, just a Vizio flat-screen, but the idea wouldn’t be a bad one considering all the advances that technology has made over the years.
Since there is already PIP, picture-and-picture (PAP), and picture-and-text (PAT), one can assume that the next step out be to develop a television that displays three different channels, right?
In the meantime, I’ll just have to settle for flipping channels or running from room-to-room.
Am I crazy? What do you think?
